After many years of off-road riding in the deserts, dunes, hills and valleys of Southern California and racing competitively, I’ve noticed
a few things. Most riders wear a chest protector. Most riders wear a hydration pack. Most riders have some kind of tool
storage on themselves, or their bike. Most riders, who have had a serious crash (me included), appreciate a good rib protector.
All of these individual packs, hydration units and rib protectors usually move and shift causing the rider discomfort and an uneasy, unsafe ride.
